The Fourth of July Celebration Presented by
The City of Glenwood Springs and First Bank

Location: Two Rivers Park
Time: 5:00PM - 9:30PM
This free family friendly event kicks off at 5PM in Two Rivers Park with kids activities, food/beverage vendors, live demonstrations, and more!
Music begins at 6:30PM with The Davenports - Carbondale's smoothest band, bringing you only the finest yacht rock jams and 80's hits. Loggins, McDonald, Hall & Oats, Toto, Prince, Benatar, Blondie and beyond!
Headlining act, Otone Brass Band will play New Orleans Jazz/Funk in this unique blend of original music, high energy and second line grooves. OBB has played in multiple Colorado based Jazz Fests and performed at the Democratic National Convention. This main act will kick off around 7:30PM.
The evening will be capped off by a one-of-a-kind laser performance above the softball field starting around 9:15PM. The show will bring Red Mountain alive with waves of color, choreographed to classic rock, country, classical and pop hits from today!

5:00PM - "Gates" Open
- Kids Activities - bubble & chalk zone, games, giveaways, bounce houses, mechanical bull and more!
- Food and Beverage Vendors - gyros, Philly-cheese steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, shaved ice and vegan options! **No Alcohol Sales in the Park**
- Salida Circus - Trapeze performances, snake charmer and face painter
6:30PM - The Davenports
The Davenports are Carbondale's smoothest band; bringing you only the finest yacht rock jams and 80's hits.
7:20PM - ROTC rendition of the National Anthem
7:30PM - Otone Brass Band
Playing New Orleans Jazz/Funk in the Rockies for 20 years. A Unique blend of original music, high energy and second line grooves. Played multiple Colorado based Jazz Festivals and performed at the Democratic National Convention.
9:15PM - Unique, one-of-a-kind laser performance executed on Red Mountain and choreographed to classic rock, country and pop hits from today! Get your camera's ready; the projection of the lasers will refract through a smokey vapor producing an artificial atmosphere above the softball field.
9:30PM - Event concludes
Q: Should I drive to the event?
A: Parking will be VERY limited; patrons are encouraged to bike, walk or carpool to the event. There will be a COMPLIMENTARY shuttle service at the Glenwood Springs High School both to and from the event!
Q: If I bike to the event, will there be adequate parking?
A: The Glenwood Springs Bicycle Advocates will host a 'bike valet' for a small donation. There will also be ample bike stations to lock on-to, free of charge.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: The Fourth of July Celebration is a family friendly event with loud noises and food. We do not believe this is a suitable environment for pets, so please leave all animals at home.
Q: Will I be able to grill in Two Rivers Park on the Fourth?
A: Per the fire restriction, grilling will be allowed ONLY in the preset, permanent grill structures at Two Rivers, outside grills and charcoal will NOT be allowed.
Q: Will there be alcohol?
A: There will NOT be alcohol sales in Two Rivers Park. Patrons are allowed to bring their own beverages to the event, but please, NO GLASS!
Q: Is smoking allowed within the park?
A: There will be a designated tobacco smoking section behind the band shell. Any consumption of marijuana will result in immediate removal from park grounds.
Q: Can I slackline in the park?
A: Slacklining will be allowed in certain areas of the park, but will not be allowed inside the main area of activation's.
