The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) operates bus service from Aspen to Glenwood Springs (Roaring Fork Valley service), and Glenwood Springs to Rifle (Grand Hogback route). RFTA also operates intra-city bus to the four Aspen Skico ski areas, Maroon Bells Guided Bus Tours, and a variety of other seasonal services. RFTA uses biodiesel fuel in its diesel fleet and CNG-powered buses to help mitigate air pollution.

Greyhound Bus Lines
Greyhound Bus Lines stops in Glenwood Springs daily, continuing on to the rest of the country. Check their website for fares, bus schedules, station locations, or any other questions.
Amtrak stops in Glenwood Springs everyday, with trains continuing in either direction to Denver or Salt Lake City. The historical downtown Glenwood Springs depot is located on 7th Street, in between Cooper and Blake Avenues. The California Zephyr train departs headed east at 12:10 p.m. daily and west at 1:53 p.m. daily.
